Creative Floristry - Flower Cloud Making

  • Duke's of West Barns 5 Duke Street Dunbar, Scotland, EH42 1UR United Kingdom (map)
Everlasting Dried Flower Cloud

Join Jenny to create a beautiful and unique floral cloud with a bounty of interesting textures, shapes and colours of dried flowers, seedheads and grasses.

In this workshop you’ll be lead through the method of making a flower cloud, with the freedom to nurture your own creativity and expression though it’s creation. These enchanting flower clouds will be botanical art pieces made in the correct scale to put in your home and enjoyed for many months, even years to come. They make a beautiful and different way to bring a bit of nature indoors.

There will also be the opportunity during this class to also learn more about the flowers we will use, a bit about seasonal and sustainable floristry and growing and drying your own flowers.

All materials will be provided and refreshments will be on hand.

Being environmentally responsible is important to us and as such all the materials for this workshop are sourced as locally as possible from British & Scottish specialist flower growers, produced without the use of artificial dyes or bleach; and our mechanics will be sustainable too, no floral foam will be used.

We’ll be hosting this workshop at Duke’s of West Barns, a gorgeous new gallery, cafe & studio space in Dunbar which is in a fantastic location close to Belhaven Bay, with ample parking.
